NEW starters at Seamer and Irton School have been settling into their new surroundings with ease.

The youngsters have just enjoyed their first week in the classroom and have excitedly made new friends.

They are being looked after by teachers Angela Newens and Natalie Hindle, who have both been delighted by their attitude.

Mrs Newens said: “They have settled in really well and we have been extremely pleased with them.

“They have been on tours of the school to find out where everything is and those with brothers and sisters have been able to see their classes too.

“They have also enjoyed making new friends and they really are a lovely group.”
