RE: MENCAP Concert at the YMCA
We had an emotional but a very enjoyable afternoon at the MENCAP concert.
Colin, my fiance couldn’t believe his eyes when he watched his daughter, Carol Haycock actually doing a song and dance routine in front of a large audience.
Well done all staff of Brookleigh and YMCA who must have worked very hard to put on such a good performance, and made it such a memorable occasion.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Rotary House, Peasholm Drive, run by the Wilf Ward Trust for their hard work and kindness shown to Carol in her new supported living home.
Carol has been extremely happy and independent this past year. It is also such a relief for her father, Colin to know that she is being taken such good care of in her new home.
So once again, many thanks to Social Services, Rotary House, Mencap and Social Clubs, Basic Plus and Elder Street Day Centre for making Carol such a contented and happy lady.
Keep up the good work, I am full of admiration for you all.
