MAY I, through your letters page, express my grateful thanks and gratitude for the treatment and care our son received recently in Scarborough Hospital.
He was admitted, for what we now know as being dangerously ill. Diagnosis I understand was difficult as he was full of poison from a burst abscess somewhere within. For the month that he was in hospital he received excellent care and attention, second to none.
Our grateful thanks and extreme gratitude go to all concerned from surgeons down to ward staff in the intensive care unit and to Maple ward. Also our grateful thanks go to Dr Adamson of Belgrave Surgery for his very professional advice for an earlier illness, in what we understand may be inter-related to the hospital illness. Many criticisms are cast at times to the hospital and health service and we would like to join the band of people who are so grateful for the professionalism of the medical personnel who care for us all.
Once again our many thanks to you all.
Mr and Mrs W Bradshaw
