Fantastic fundraising event

The Cliff Top Kennels Re-homing charity recently held a fundraising dinner at the Fledglings Restaurant, Yorkshire Coast College, Lady Edith’s Drive. This is an annual event and no one thought we could improve on last year, but we can honestly say that we did!

The charity committee, through the medium of your paper, thank the staff and students for a fantastic evening. The students worked so hard, and produced such wonderful food for us all that no one there could fail to be impressed.

We want to thank all the people who attended the event and generously donated raffle prizes. We had a wonderful speaker, PC Graham Bilton who somehow managed to entertain and to pass on serious information. Everyone who attended had a part in raising funds that are so badly needed to enable the charity to continue the much needed work to re-home the strays and abandoned dogs found in our immediate locality. All the monies raised go directly to this work.

The evening was such a success, everyone who missed out on the treat really will have to make a note in their diary for next year, follow us on facebook or watch our website for more information on the charity.
