Letter: Respect the beaches and environment

No respect for our lovely beaches and the sea environment.
No respect for our lovely beaches and the sea environment.

Coming back along the South Bay from the Spa with the family dog, I was shocked and very cross that rubbish had just been left. No respect for our lovely beaches and the sea environment.

Last year I started to walk on the beach at the lifeboat station. I had only gone about 50 yards when I was pounced upon by a dog warden (as popular as one of our notorious seagulls).

Could the council employ someone as keen as him.

Someone alert and keen-eyed would perhaps help the gull problem.

I cannot say I blame the birds when food is basically left on the beach for them.

Also, come on, councillors.

What about public loos disappearing from Marine Drive? Not everyone can afford teas or coffees just to spend a penny.
