ON A recent visit to Scarborough, I could not help noticing the tubs of flowers along the main pedestrianised street.
Or, to be more accurate, the tubs of half deal flowers. All for want of watering.
Is this not a waste of taxpayers money, to buy plants and then not look after them?
Or is it just a sad reflection on the nearby shops that no one has bothered to water them?
These could have been a lovely display, as it is they are a sad reflection of apathy.
Come on Scarborough, is this of your best?
