The NHS: greatest asset being privatised

Have your say

In these troubled days when the Government is cutting anything they can think of and are getting away with it, our greatest asset, the NHS, is slowly being privatised.

I can’t understand why the younger generation are not protesting vigorously, in time it will affect them. Don’t they care? It will cost a fortune for medical care.

In 1948 when a Labour Government started the NHS it was for everybody who needed medical care young and old, the service was the envy of the world. In the early days people from all over world came to Britain for free care.

My generation enjoyed a good NHS no complications but these days you are lucky if you get an appointment with your doctor the same week you ring for an appointment, it is now for the younger people to save the NHS.
