WITH REFERENCE to tributes to Gilbert Gray QC. I remember once discussing court cases with George Spencer, ex PC, and he told me that whenever Micky Hornby was up at court, which was quite often, that if Gilbert Gray was there at the same time he would seek him out, and shake hands with him and say: “How are you doing Michael my boy?”
A top QC and a town character, they were old school pals, they attended Friarage School together, but Gilbert hadn’t forgotten him.
