Former Scarborough RUFC junior Zoe Aldcroft is set to jet out to America after receiving a call-up to the full England Women’s squad.

Aldcroft could be set to win her first full cap after impressing in both the under-20s and sevens sides as England take on hosts USA, France and Canada in their three-game tour.

The Darlington Mowden Park number eight said: “I’m very excited to be heading to America next week with the full England squad.

“It’s a great opportunity for me to try and impress the coaches and hopefully win my first full cap in what should be three tough matches.”

All three of England’s games will be broadcast live on www.therugbychannel.tv, with the three clashes set to kick-off at 10am (BST).

England’s first game of the tour is against Canada on Friday July 1.

They then meet European rivals France on Tuesday July 5 before finishing their tour against hosts USA on Saturday July 9.

The side will train at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, with all matches to be played on the championship field at the Regional Athletic Complex.
