The Bayes brothers were in outstanding form for Ravenscar in their 114-run success again Valley Bar Nomads.

Joe Bayes dropped just two short of his century, while brother Shaun was unbeaten on 73 as Ravenscar tallied 200-1 in their division C clash.

Matt Smith then went on to grab 3-6 to finish the job.

Mark Dove was the all-round star in Staxton B’s win by just four runs against Scalby B.

Dove’s 30 was the top score in Staxton’s 110-6.

He then took 3-11 and Dan Outhart bagged 4-12 as Scalby slipped to 10-6, but Nathan Barber’s 42 helped force them in touching distance.

Outhart ended up in hospital with a hand injury.

Conner Myerscough scored 32 with the bat and then collected 3-3 with the ball as Seamer B beat Snainton by 77 runs.

There were half-centuries for Scott Woodhead, Andy Toal and Matthew Kings in the wins for their respective teams Ebberston B, Forge Valley B and Muston.

Tom Gregory hit the form of his life as he helped plunder Scalby to their 67-run win against Cayton in division B.

Gregory clattered nine sixes in his innings of 60, with his 50 coming up after just 17 balls.

Dave Holborn also reached the 60s as Scalby closed on 201-9.

Ryan Woodhead’s unbeaten 33 gave Cayton some hope, but that was soon extinguished by the bowling of Paul Hesp (3-45) and Pete Beard (3-22).

Phil Pickard caught the eye for Sherburn but still ended up on the losing side by 13 runs against Flixton B.

Flixton were bowled out for 116 due mainly to the efforts of Pickard, who took a hat-trick in his 5-15.

Three wickets each for Conner Stephenson and Steven Hill made sure Sherburn dropped short.

Aaron Howard struck 73 for Filey, but a knock of 58 from Josh Mainprize booked a six-wicket win for Scarborough.

Heslerton leapt to the top of the division A table after their tight win by four wickets against previous leaders Ebberston.

Ben Lealman (56) and Neil Eddon (32) led Ebberston to a useful score of 136-9, Tom Benthall taking four of the wickets to fall.

Heslerton’s Aussie Michael Dawson then hit 67, with Sam Triffitt remaining unbeaten on 30 as they edged home with just four balls remaining.

Tom Bumby struck 80 in Forge Valley’s 139-6 that was 16 runs too much for Cloughton A.

Gary Jordan still managed to shine for Cloughton with three wickets and a knock of 31.

Linden Gray bagged 5-19 and Rob Pinder struck 43 not out to eas Staxton to a seven-wicket win against Wykeham.

Brandon Tyzzer’s 47 was in vain for Seamer as they lost by seven wickets to Flixton.

Jonathan Clark top-scored with 38 for Flixton, who passed Seamer’s 108-6.
