Heslerton’s Readers Scarborough Beckett Cricket League premier division title challenge has been dented by an eight-wicket defeat at Forge Valley, James Tindall’s astonishing 9-39 sending the visitors scuttling back to the hut for just 118 runs.

Only a gritty 57 from stalwart Anthony Watson steered Heslerton to three figures in the face of deadly bowling from Tindall.
