All-rounder Chris Grey took 3-8 and hit an unbeaten 42 as Scarborough eased to an eight-wicket win at home to Driffield in the Yorkshire League.

Spinner Grey was the pick of the home bowlers as Driffield slumped to 104 all out at North Marine Road.

Aussie Carl Joyce, youngster Sam Carver and Tom Precious took two wickets apiece for the hosts, with Danny Broumpton the only Driffield batsman to make any headway with 31, Nick Hardgrave adding 19.

Openers Andy Simpson and Pete Shally both departed for 15 to leave the hosts on 31-2, but an unbroken third-wicket stand of 74 between Darren Harland, 28no, and Grey, 42no, saw them home in 25.1 overs.
