MARK Tennant and Darren Harland both impressed with the bat as Scarborough defeated Sheffield United by 130 runs at North Marine Road.
Scarborough batted first and posted 235-8, Tennant hitting 65 and Harland 61 to help lead the charge.
Paul Cummins was the pick of the Sheffield bowling attack as he snapped up 5-80 with his slow to medium right hand action.
In response Sheffield were all out for 105.
Their top scorer was Olly Laws who ended up with 32 runs to his name.
Jack Holt claimed 3-14 for Scarborough while Matty Kay was also on form with the ball, taking 4-40.
Scarborough picked up eight points for the victory with Sheffield not getting anything.
Scarborough Cricket Club co-ordinator John Green said: “It was a very positive result and the players performed well.
“Mark and Darren were superb and gave the team a good platform to build from.
“I was pleased that Jack Holt got some wickets because he bowled very well against Driffield the week before but did not get his wickets.
“Matty Kay was a massive support and also did very well with the ball.
“It has been a very positive week for everyone at North Martine Road after Yorkshire beat Leicestershire and to have the Scarborough first team win so well has capped it off.
“Hopefully now we can drive on and have a very good season and push for some honours.”
