Headingley ticket prices are slashed

YORKSHIRE County Cricket Club fans will be able to watch limited overs cricket at Headingley this season without breaking the bank.

The Tykes have taken the decision to reduce ticket and admission prices across the board going into the 2012 campaign.

All adult and concessions tickets for Yorkshire’s opening Friends Life t20 match of the season against Durham Dynamos on Friday 15 June will be charged at £5.

This represents a massive discount on 2011 prices. Booking on the day of the match will cost £10 for adults and £5 for concessions - 50 per cent off last year’s prices.

And for the Roses t20 clash against Lancashire Lightning on Friday June 29, prices have been brought in line with those for other t20 matches, a £3 reduction across the board.

Ticket and admission prices for fixtures at Scarborough’s North Marine Road are expected to remain at the same as last year.

Scarborough’s cricket fans can enjoy 11 days of competitive action this summer, one more than usual.
