HESLERTON returned to top form in the Beckett League premier division with a six-wicket win at Seamer.
The hosts struggled for form on their own pitch, opener Joe Danby scoring 40 but when he was bowled by paceman Daley Wharton the home team total was 65-7.
A 32-run partnership between Gary Lawton, 21, and Dave Lawty, 14, helped Seamer to three figures, as they were dismissed for 104.
Wharton had top figures of 5-35, while Adam Spaven claimed and Kristian Wilkinson 2-20 from 16 hostile overs.
Openers Alex Carrie, 19, and Tony Watson, 25, put on 39, then Aussie Josh Croft added 28 and Sam Triffitt 20 to gain victory by six wickets in the 26th over.
Staxton extended their lead at the top of the premeir division table to 23 points after beating Flixton 2nds by seven wickets.
Batting first the home team were bowled out for 142, with Darren Ellis top scoring on 41 as Linden Gray claimed 3-47 and Adam Hargreaves 3-39 for Staxton.
In reply Nick Gibson was dismissed for 34 and on 53-3 Flixton sensed a chance, but when Dave Williamson, 53, joined James Armstrong, 36, the pair knocked off the runs without further loss.
