Scarborough 2nds suffered their fifth defeat of the York Senior League third division season when they had an unsuccessful outing to sunny Pocklington.

Batting first, the Scarborough lads were dismissed for 136 as Geoff Woodward (3-22) and Ian Moorhouses (3-24) each bagged a trio of wickets.

Most successful with the bat were Darren Mills with 30 and Reece Milner who made 26. Milner then followed with 3-40, but sound innings by Neil Jackson 48, C. Lambert 40no and Andy Foreman 30 sealed a six-wicket home win.
