Scarborough 2nds look certain to be relegated after suffering a home loss by nine wickets against champions Duncombe Park in the York Senior Cricket League third division.

Ashish Kundi smacked 74 as the home side posted 193-5, Josh Mainprize adding 42 and Jake Finnigan 30.

This proved to be an below-par total though as Connor Campbell hammered 67 and Brian Leckenby an unbeaten 63 as the Helmsley side eased home to wrap up the title win, Alistair Holmes also remaining undefeated on 37.

Flixton earned a winning draw at home to Beverley Town 2nds in division one, Rich Malthouse continued his fine form with an excellent knock of 82.

Mick Walmsley added an undefeated 44 as the home side posted 217-7, Peter Parnaby claiming 3-33 for the visitors.

Ben Fish struck 54 and Mick Cooke 41 in reply, with Parnaby unbeaten on 22 as the visitors finished on 201-8, Chris Mann taking 2-38 and Nick Zakrzewski 2-47.
