Scarborough are on the road at Castleford in the Yorkshire League on Saturday as they look to build on Monday’s impressive eight-wicket win at home to Sheffield Collegiate.
The North Marine Road club are currently sitting in 11th place in the league table, level on points with Castleford, and just above the bottom two clubs Collegiate and Sheffield United.
This match should be a close one as both teams have only picked up one win in seven games, each having earned three draws and suffered three losses.
Skipper Andrew Simpson and stalwart Darren Harland will be looking to maintain their top form with the bat after they both recorded centuries in the win over fellow strugglers Collegiate.
Scarborough 2nds are at home against York League division three south leaders Fenner 2nds.
The hosts are sitting at the foot of the table, without a win in their five games, whereas Fenners have had two wins, two draws and a match abandoned giving them a total of 113 points.
Flixton are also at home against division one table-toppers Bridlington.
The villagers are sitting mid-table with only one win in their five games compared to Brid, who have won two and drawn two of their five games.
