Scarborough suffered a heavy defeat in the Yorkshire League against Doncaster on Saturday.
The North Marine Road club were skittled for just 104 runs in 32.1 overs thanks to some superb bowling from Oliver Jackson, who ended up with 5-42 from 12 overs.
Curtis Free and Ashley Knowles also bagged a couple of wickets apiece for the home side.
Chris Grey was the only away batsman to impress with 39, the next-highest scorer being Samrat Sharma with 16, openers Andy Simpson and Darren Harland hitting 12 apiece.
After the dismissal of Cox for 20 by Grey, an unbeaten second-wicket stand of 72 between Simon Widdup (35no) and Stuart Guy (39no) saw Donny home with just 19.4 overs bowled.
Scarborough will be hoping for better luck at home to Sheffield United in their next game on Saturday.
