Only two matches were completed in the Derwent Valley League on Saturday.
Heslerton 2nds leapt into second spot in the division A table after thrashing hosts Sherburn 2nds by 69 runs.
Things did not seem to be going too well for the visitors when they were shot out for 99 by top bowling from Dan Bean, 4-35, and George Worthy, 3-20.
Matty Webster then ripped through the Sherburn batting order with some top fast bowling, securing match-winning figures of 6-15 as the hosts stumbled to 30 all out.
The only other game to survive saw division B leaders Great Habton win by five wickets at struggling Flixton 3rds.
Adam Durrant snapped up a hat-trick in his stunning spell of 6-39 as the hosts were dismissed for 120, Andy Ryan top-scoring with 31.
Robin Richardson’s knock of 38 then paved the way for Habton’s triumph.
