Josh Mainprize hit a superb unbeaten 101 to help Scarborough 2nds to victory against Welton & Brough 2nds.

Mainprize’s superb century was supported by skipper Joe Padmore’s 68 as the away side collated 225-2 from 45 overs.

Matty Kay was in fine form with the ball as he claimed 6-26 in reply as Welton struggled to get going.

Flixton’s game at home to table-toppers Heworth in division one was called to a premature end by the wet weather.

Flixton had lost openers Neil Elvidge, 22, and Harry Walmsley, 19, when their innings came to a halt on 49-2 from 15.2 overs.
