Yorkshire’s fixtures at Scarborough for 2015 have been announced with rivals Durham and Somerset set to visit North Marine Road along with games against Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.

Yorkshire members, who traditionally enjoy their cricket in Scarborough, will have a feast of action in 2015.

The club will play twice in July with an LV County Championship match against Worcestershire on Sunday July 19 followed by a Royal London One Day Cup match against Gloucestershire on Sunday July 26.

Yorkshire return to North Marine Road for the 129th Scarborough Cricket Festival in August commencing with a Royal London One-Day Cup encounter against Somerset on Wednesday August 5.

Two days later North East rivals Durham are the visitors in the LV County Championship on Friday August 7.

“Matches at Scarborough are always look forward to, not only by members’ but the players’ too,” said Yorkshire’s chief executive Mark Arthur.

“Scarborough will continue to set the benchmark for County cricket across the country. It is the biggest attended match in the Championship and to have local rivals Durham returning to the ground in August, is fantastic news.
