Two players who learned their trade at Scarborough RUFC have been handed huge selection boosts.

Current Scarborough RUFC first team prospect Joe Marshall has been picked for the Yorkshire under-20s squad, while Zoe Aldcroft has been picked for the England Women’s under-20 side.

Marshall will join up with the Yorkshire side for their game against Cheshire on Sunday October 26 at Darlington.

The pacy youngster has been in superb form for Lee Douglas’ men since breaking into the side at the end last season.

Aldcroft (pictured), who recently starred as the England under-18s seven squad who won the inaugural European Championships in Sweden last month, has been called-up to the full 15-a-side under-20s squad.

The under-20s will play France home and away in February and March and will also contest an international summer tour.
