Bradford City youngster Jack Bentley will be making his debut for Scarborough Athletic tomorrow.
The 18-year-old keeper will grab a starting role for the pre-season friendly clash at Whitby Town’s Turnbull Ground.
Bentley has been snapped up on a long-term loan from the Bantams and will provide competition to Jason White.
Boss Rudy Funk said: “Jack is a young keeper who we will be having a look at in detail tomorrow.
“He is on a long-term loan deal from Bradford and we are delighted to have him with us.”
Funk is not only looking forward to the final pre-season outing at Boro’s East Coast rivals, but he is also keen to welcome strikers Ryan Blott and Tony Hackworth back into the fold.
He added: “It is a great fixture to close our pre-season campaign, you can’t beat a Seaside derby.
“The thing I’m most looking forward to is seeing Ryan and Tony back in the side.
“They have had unfortunate injuries this pre-season, so we will have to ease them back into things.
“These are players that scored the club around 60 goals between them last season, they are great lads to have at the club and they are Scarborough through and through, which is great.”
