Scarborough Athletic will be at full strength when they tackle the Scarborough & District League at Silver Royd on Saturday.
Boro boss Rudy Funk will welcome Scarborough-based midfielder Jimmy Beadle back into the fold, as well as former Scunthorpe man Kieran McCaffrey, while ex-Hull City youngster Danny Chambers will also be involved.
Funk is now hoping for an excellent game of football in front of an enthusiastic Scarborough crowd.
He said: “It is great to be able to give the people of Scarborough the chance to have a look at the new signings and the team as a whole in town.
“Some people can’t make the trip to Bridlington for our games, and fortunately this pre-season we will have two games at Silver Royd because Lincoln City will be coming a week later.
“We would like to thank the people at Scarborough Rugby Club for giving us the opportunity to host two games in town.
“Our main objective is to increase the interest in our club as a whole.
“Last year this game was a great event and a good advert for both sides and we are hoping for something similar this time out.”
Funk added: “For the game we are 100 per cent at full strength.
“Everyone is back, including Jimmy Beadle, who was rested against Clipstone, and Kieran McCaffrey, who was on holiday.”
