Scarborough Athletic boss Rudy Funk is looking for his players to maintain their momentum when they take the trip to Thackley on Saturday.
Funk has a full compliment available heading into the game against the side that moved up to fourth in the table on Tuesday evening.
The Boro chief feels that he is in a fortunate position because of the strength of his bench.
Jimmy Beadle, Robbie Hawkes and Dave Kemp all emerged from the dug-out in the second half in Saturday’s win against Hall Road and turned in solid performances.
He said: “Robbie, Henry Sibenge, Dave Kemp and Jimmy Beadle are obviously no strangers to the game.
“They obviously have to wait for their chance because it is difficult to alter a winning team, but when the lads came in Saturday they did superbly.
“At times you need to introduce your subs and it is a great position for me to be in when the lads that come off the bench are as good as the lads you are taking off.”
Funk is expecting a tough time on the road at a Thackley side, who have won one and lost one against Boro this season.
They comfortably beat Thackley in the opening month of the season with a double from Ryan Blott and goals from James Bennett and Ollie Ryan helping them to a 4-1 win.
They were then knocked out of the FA Vase by the Bradford side in October.
Funk added: “Thackley have been a NCEL Premier side for a good number of years.
“This will be the third time we’ve met this season, we had a good win against them in the league, then we faced a completely different team when we lost to them in the Vase.
“We were also missing a few that day and we had the likes of Robbie Hawkes, Tommy Adams and Pete Davidson, who were all struggling with illness.
“We are playing well and everyone will be looking forward to another test.”
The Supporters Club bus to the game will leave the station at 12pm.
