Scarborough Athletic joint-bosses Paul Foot and Bryan Hughes threw their full support behind their players after Saturday’s 1-0 home defeat against Warrington.
The loss made it four games without victory, a run that has seen Boro tumble from top down to seventh in the table.
Foot understands that this string of results will be a hot topic at the moment, but he underlined that he still has faith in his side.
“Everyone will pass judgement on the result because that is what they do,” said Foot.
“What I know is that this bunch of players will come good and when they do it will be frightening.
“If people want to judge us at the moment that is fine, but we will be doing our very best to put things right.
“I can say that every player in the dressing room has the back of everybody else.
“The lads are behind each other and that is what is important.
“After the game we could have gone in there and shouted at the lads, but they went out there and put in a good shift for us.
“They have a game to put it right straight away. It is vital that we all keep believing.”
Hughes added: “I’m not frustrated. I though we played okay and did enough to get something out of the game.
“We just gave away a sloppy goal and couldn’t come back from it.
“Some of our play was good going forward, but in that last final third things don’t seem to be going for us at the moment.
“It is something we’ll have to work on. We know how good we are going forward, we have the players that can do things, but at the moment it just isn’t happening.
“The lads were down after the game because they have lost, they are all winners in there.
“We can’t be feeling sorry for ourselves, we have to bounce straight back in what will be another tough game against Glossop on Tuesday night.”
