Scarborough Athletic will be on the road at Bradford Park Avenue if they can progress to the FA Cup’s third qualifying round.

Boro still have to topple Penrith in the seond qualifying round replay after Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Queensgate.

Athletic take the lengthy trip to Penrith on Wednesday night for their second bite of the cherry.

Boro coach John Reed said: “Obviously we are only looking at Wednesday’s game at Penrith first because that stands in the way of any progression.

“An easier tie could have been awaiting us in the next round, but our previous draws haven’t been bad so you just have to take this one.

“Bradford Park Avenue are enjoying life in the Conference North at the moment, they have a quality group of players.

“We would be very much the underdogs if we do progress, but we do have to focus all of our efforts on Penrith first.”
