Scarborough Athletic will be going all out for victory when they head into Tuesday night’s North Riding FA Senior Cup quarter-final against Thornaby at Queensgate, 8pm.
The previous meeting between the sides was scheduled for the end of last month, but it was frozen off.
Since then a number of players have been welcomed back from injury and a handful of those could be involved against the Northern League division two side.
Among them will be midfielder Pete Davidson, who will be making his 100th start for a club if he gets the call from joint-bosses Bryan Hughes and Paul Foot.
Hughes said: “Pete needs game-time at the moment and we have a few more likes Joe Lamplough and Dean Lisles, who are coming back from injury.
“There may be a few of the younger lads involved as well, but we are definitely fielding a team to win the game.
“If you look at it we are a win away from a game away from a semi-final, with teams like Middlesbrough waiting there.”
