FALSGRAVE manager Billy-Jo Johnson paid tribute to his side’s efforts as they picked up their second piece of silverware in three days after a comprehensive 5-0 win against a lacklustre FC Soba in the Frank White Trophy final at Seamer yesterday.
Mikey Anderson was the star man for the victors, his hat-trick and two assists steered his side to a deserved win, and his manager Johnson praised his efforts.
He said: “They were all fantastic out there. I knew we could win the game and we did it really comfortably in the end.
“Mikey was excellent. So was Nick Ellis, who played centre-back when he usually plays up front. Rich Tolliday and Cameron Malcolm played well too.
“The whole team have put the effort in this season. Nobody moans when they’re on the bench and the whole squad have done really well.”
