Cartman at double in Boro's opening win at Atherton
Early goals in each half by striker Nathan Cartman earned Boro a hugely impressive 2-0 opening day win at Atherton Collieries.
Cartman opened his account after just 48 seconds of the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division season.
The striker added the second goal three minutes into the second half to cap a superb league debut for Athletic and secure the points for Boro at a sun drenched Skuna Stadium.
