EDGEHILL Football Club have received a boost off the pitch after the Crown Tavern weighed in with new hooded tops for both the club’s first and second teams.

The club, who have teams in the Scarborough & District Saturday League divisions one and two, meet at the pub and return there after matches.

And their manager Alec Coulson was quick to thank Annette Walker, the landlady of the Crown Tavern, for their kind sponsorship.

He said: “It is great that Annette has helped the club out with these new tops.

“All the lads love them so it is a great help for them to buy them for us.”
