Heslerton under-11s secured a superb 5-0 win against Holt.

Ethan Smith scored a hat-trick for the villagers, with Tom Stockdale adding a brace of goals.

Heslerton under-sevens played host to Scholes Park Raiders on a breezy Sunday morning.

Harry Richardson started in goal for the hosts, with Jake Allardice and Matthew Moss in defence, and the trio were momentarily stunned by an early strike.

As the game unfolded Heslerton began to get themselves back into the game.

Charlie Swiers and Rio Howden continued their partnership up front with Macy Cowton playing just behind. The defensive midfielder was Max Taylor-Barber.

The hosts were trying hard with runs by Taylor-Barber, Howden and Swiers, but they were all coming to nothing.

Heslerton were thankful for some good defending by Moss and Allardice.

The second half saw the introduction of defensive pair Lincoln Welburn and Tommy Palmer, both putting in big performances.

With a good passing move, Cowton put Swiers through only to rocket against the crossbar.

The outcoming ball was narrowly put wide by Taylor-Barber.

Man of the match went to the impressive Swiers.

The second match saw the usual introduction of the younger lads, with Oscar Webb, Luke Allardice and Eli Howden all taking to the pitch.

Even with such a young team all the Heslerton players battled hard but with no reward.

Heslerton under-nines played at Kirkbymoorside with the player of the match honour going to goal scorer Joe Pearce in the first game and the under-eights v under-nines clash’s star man award was given to Brandon McCann.
