Forty-three Scarborough lads are set to camp it up at Euro 2016 in France after heading off from town this morning.

Edgehill secretary and Scalby Juniors FC boss Alec Coulson started planning the trip two years ago, with the group set to pick up eight camper-vans before heading across the Channel.

Seven have bought tickets for England's crunch clash with Wales on Thursday, with four heading to the final group clash against Slovakia, with the group set to stay in Lens and Lille.

Coulson said: "It's been hard work over two years in the planning, but I'm sure it'll be worth it.

"We're just hoping for a good atmosphere and England wins against Wales and Slovakia."
