Scarborough Athletic boss Rudy Funk was a happy man after the conclusion of the FA Cup and FA Trophy draws.
Funk’s men will tackle either Ashington or Pontefract in the preliminary round of the competition.
Should they progress beyond that round then they will play either Northallerton, Whitehaven, Team Northumbria or Whitley Bay in the first qualifying round.
Boro have been drawn on the road in the preliminary round of the FA Trophy where they travel Prescot Cables.
Should they win that game then they are at Stocksbridge Park Steels.
The Boro chief said: “The fact that we have a home draw in the FA Cup is fantastic. It will be great for the supporters of our club.
“If everything goes to plan then we will have an interesting fixture waiting for us in the next round as well.
“We are obviously looking forward to the FA Trophy as well.
“It is important that we keep our feet on the ground at the moment because hopefully we will have a cracking season ahead of us.”
