Scarborough Athletic boss Rudy Funk is expecting a tough challenge when his team play host to Coalville Town in the Evo-Stik South on Saturday.
Coalville were the division’s pre-season favourites, though they currently sit sixth, six points behind leaders Leek Town. In contrast, Boro lie 16th with just one league win.
Funk, who has a full squad to chose from, said: “They will be well-drilled and it will be a tough, but exciting game.
“Coalville were tipped to do well at the beginning of the season and they are still right up there in the table.
“Both teams will be really going for it out there.”
Funk is also happy to be back on home turf and he is hoping his team to be buoyed by last weekend’s FA Cup win against Team Northumbria.
He added: “The FA Cup will take you places all over the country the further you get into it, that is just one of those things.
“It is always nice to be back at home though because I love playing in front of those fans.
“They played a huge part last season, sometimes things haven’t worked out for us at home, but they have always been there and given their support.”
