An impressive 7-0 win at Goldsborough United saw Heslerton under-15s go top of the Scarborough and District Minor League table.
Luke Smith opened the scoring following up a shot from Harry Walmsley.
Matty Pickard netted the second just before half-time.
After the break Walmsley scored his first of the game with an unstoppable strike, soon after Rob Green bagged his first just inside the box.
A goalmouth scramble fell to Walmsley for his second and Heslerton’s fifth. Green then looked sharp to bag his second.
Walmsley completed his hat-trick with a technically brilliant shoulder-high volley to earn him the man of the match honours with help from a superb team performance.
Heslerton under-nines survived a spirited late fightback from an impressive Seamer outfit to win 3-2 at home in a thrilling contest.
After Heslerton had taken the lead with good interplay between Tom Allen and goalscorer Brad Spiller, Seamer fought back to bring the scores level.
Brothers Charlie and Alfie Thompson then started to exert their hold on the midfield, feeding the Heslerton forward line.
Having completed his hat-trick with two more goals, man of the match Spiller fired the home side into a 3-1 lead.
From there the tide turned with the Heslerton defence having to hold firm under increasing pressure, Seamer scoring a second to keep their hopes of a comeback alive.
Strong defensive performances by Josh Dolan and Tom Owen kept the visitors out, with relief all round from the home side when the final whistle blew.
Heslerton under-eights found it hard with a weakened side, as they were missing their poorly goalkeeper.
Filey Town were strong in spirit but the Heslerton defence of Noah Garnett and Dylan Fawcett showed their spirit too and had a real shift to put in while stand-in keeper Charlie Richardson made some fine saves.
Jaylen Welburn worked tirelessly in midfield to help his fellow players while Brandon McCann and Hayden Williamson tried to make attacks on the Filey goal. Tommy Palmer won the man of the match award for his constant battling and tackling.
Heslerton under-eights still need more boys or girls aged six and seven to join their team.

In the York FA Cup, Old Malton under-12s hammered Tadcaster Albion 10-0.
Playing the same team as the previous week, Old Malton totally dominated this match.
Sam Mann hit the net, while Jake Wiles banged in a hat-trick before half-time and Theo Wilkie scored his first of three goals, making the score 5-0 at the break.
With keeper Finlay Tunman playing outfield in the second half Old Malton continued their rampage, Wilkie completing his hat-trick, Wiles adding his fourth, inspirational skipper Tom Jenkins netting once and a first club goal for Matthew Hopkins to complete this first round cup victory.
Old Malton under-11s progressed to the second round of the York FA Cup with a comfortable 11-2 win at Rawcliffe.
Old Malton found themselves 3-1 up at half-time through goals from Ben Ilsley, Lewis Pople and an own goal.
The visitors continued to dominate after the interval and added further goals through Ilsely, Pople (2), Josh Lee (2), Von Sumsard (2) and Cody Young.
