Scarborough Athletic joint-boss Bryan Hughes has underlined his comitment to the club after news that he has taken a new role with Tadcaster Albion’s owners I2I.
Hughes, who took over alongside Paul Foot almost a year ago, has left his job at UK Footgolf to become the new international academy director at I2I.
He said: “I have left a great organisation in UK Footgolf because I2I approached me for the role, but throughout I have kept the club informed.
“Tadcaster is only a small part of their operation, so there is nothing in that.
“People may put two and two together and get 25, but I am 100% committed to Boro.
“When I walked into this club I said that I was here for the long haul to help push this club back through the leagues, nothing has changed as far as I’m concerned.”
