NEWLANDS midfielder Ben Luntley says his side will find it tough to complete a hat-trick of cup final victories, but will be going all out to do just that.

Jo Haking’s charges take on Redcar Sunday League second division high-flyers Holly Bush at Stokesley tonight (7.30pm ko) followed by the Senior Cup final against Trafalgar on Sunday and the Scarborough & District FA Sunday Cup final against Star next Tuesday.

Luntley said: “This is a massive week for the club and we have the opportunity to come out of it with three trophies to our name.

“It will be very hard because a lot of the lads who play on a Sunday also play for the Saturday side, and I also play for Scarborough Town and am involved in a final with them tomorrow.

“It is going to take a massive effort but we want to be successful after a slighty disappointing league campaign.”

Newlands made it to the final with a penalty victory over Traf in the semi-finals and they don’t know too much about their opponents Holly Bush.

Luntley added: “They are a new side this season but we have heard good things about them and they are flying high in their league.

“We just have to go out there and give it our best shot, and if we play to our potential we should have a good chance.”
