Paddy Miller has made a return to Scarborough Athletic.
The winger, who departed after just three games of the season and joined Evo-Stik side Ossett Town, will be in Boro’s starting line-up at Lincoln Moorlands Railway on Saturday.
Delighted boss Rudy Funk said: “Having Paddy back at the club is fantastic news. He left on good terms and I told him that if things don’t work out then he would be welcome back.
“He rang me up in the week and told me that after being at Boro it is difficult to move on because of the lads and the fans.
“Paddy is a player who will go a long way in the game, he is still young and he is still learning.
“It was disappointing when he orginially left us because he was very highly rated among my management team, Paddy has a fantastic left foot and is a great crosser of the ball.
“He is a player that excites the fans, lets hope that he continues to do exactly that.”
Funk is also still in talks with Jimmy Ghaichem, who made a cameo appearance for the club against Worksop Parramore on Saturday.
Ghaichem left in pre-season to sign for Frickley.
Funk added: We are still talking to Jimmy about a few things, we’ll just have to wait to see what the outcome will be.”
“Paddy bought me a coffee at training the other night, maybe if Jimmy does the same it will seal the deal,”Funk joked.
