Scarborough Athletic defender Andy Milne believes that February will be a huge month for his side.
Boro returned to winning ways on Saturday when they bagged a 2-1 home victory against Newcastle Town.
Milne now feels that a good run in a four-match month of February could set them up for a thrilling close to the campaign.
“We have to think positively, we have to be looking at the play-offs,” said Milne.
“We are a very new squad and we are just getting to grips with this league.
“We have had a blip over the Christmas period, now we need to push on.
“The next month is massive for us, if we can put a run together over these next few games then I think we’ll be set up nicely.
“It won’t be easy, but we went on a run before, which left all of the other clubs looking over their shoulders.”
Looking at the remainder of the campaign, Milne is adamant that experience will be the key to the success of the club.
He added: “This season I think we have a stronger side, but that is only down to the experience we have on board.
“Teams are much harder to break down in this league and that is where the experience will be so valuable.
“We do have a great mix though in the squad, it is a great blend of youth and the knowledge of the experienced players, which can only help us on the way.”
