JOE Naylor was delirious with joy after netting Scarborough Athletic’s late leveller at Retford United.
Boro looked to be spiralling towards a defeat until Naylor burst through in the 93rd minute to earn a 1-1 draw.
“It is always nice to score a last minute goal, I was ready for it.
“When I was at Carlton I kept popping up with a few goals.
“It is all about gambling, if you are in the right place you are always going to get the chances to score.
“I am getting a few at the moment, but I’m not setting any goalscoring targets, all I’m bothered about is making sure we keeping winning and picking up the points.”
“We were well on top against Parkgate in midweek and it was the same again.
“It would have been great to pick up a couple of wins, but we go again against Staveley on Tuesday and we’ll be looking for the three points to get us back on track again.”
Naylor added: “The fans were absolutely amazing once again.
“They have been fantastic this season, they provide you with a real boost, it is true what they say about the supporters being a 12th man.”
