SCARBOROUGH Athletic boss Paul Olsson is looking to complete a hat-trick of wins when his side travel to Dinnington in the NCEL Premier tonight.
Boro have scooped victories against Liversedge and Tadcaster in the past week, but Olsson is keen on another three-point haul.
Should results go Boro’s way then they could leap into the top 10 of the table tonight.
Olsson said: “The team spirit has always been there, but the fact that we are winning games now has restored that bit of confidence.
“We stuck together and now we are reaping the rewards for that.
“The fact that we have a small squad of players has helped the situation as well because it means that the lads are much closer as a group.
“If you look at the last couple of games, we can take a good deal out of both of them.
“We showed plenty of attacking threat and also tightened up at the back, both of which are huge plus points.”
Olsson is waiting on the fitness of Brent Leister and Mike Gibson ahead of the fixture, while striker Richard Medcalf also forced himself into the Boro boss’ mind after his double at the weekend.
He added: “We do have a lot of options up front. Billy Law runs forever, while Richard and Ryan Blott added that bit of quality.
“Richard’s attitude has been perfect and he will admit that he was below-par in a couple of games since he rejoined the club.
“He has still managed to score six in six, which is precisely why we wanted him at the club.”
