Nobody took an early lead in the Scarborough News’ four-way prediction battle last weekend.
None of Scarborough Athletic boss Rudy Funk, Bridlington Town manager Mitch Cook or reporters Martin Dowey and Daniel Gregory managed to get any of last week’s predictions correct, leaving everyone pointless going into this week’s round of matches.
With some interesting games on show in the Premier League this weekend, our top pundits will all be looking to get off the mark.
They will be casting their eye over the clash between Manchester United and Fulham, where United’s new signing Robin van Persie will be looking to fire his side to their first points of the season.
Another big game is the battle between Liverpool and champions Manchester City, who will be without top Argentine striker Sergio Aguero after he picked up an injury during last week’s win against Southampton.
The pundits will also be taking an interest in the games between Roberto Di Matteo’s in-form Chelsea and Newcastle, Swansea and West Ham United and Tottenham and West Brom.
