Scarborough Athletic boss Rudy Funk was the only one of our pundits to register last week in the four-way prediction battle.
Funk correctly guessed that Manchester United would beat QPR 2-0, a result that boosted him up to 11 points.
That means he edges clear of Bridlington Town manager Mitch Cook, who has 10 points, though he is still chasing deputy sports editor Martin Dowey on 17 and sports reporter Daniel Gregory, who is on 14.
There will be another round of five games for the panel to pick from this weekend, with the most interesting being the North London derby battle between Tottenham and Arsenal on Sunday.
