Premier Predictions: Pointless weekend

None of our pundits made a correct call last week in our Premier Predictions battle.

This means that sports reporter Daniel Gregory and deputy sports editor Martin Dowey remain tied at the top on 13 points, with Scarborough Athletic boss Rudy Funk and Bridlington Town manager Mitch Cook both level on nine points.

After this week’s transfer dealings there are some interesting clashes for the quartet to look at.

Will the new signings of QPR and Norwich bed in ahead of the two sides’ meeting at Loftus Road, and will the additions make a difference to Fulham in their home clash against Manchester United.

Demba Ba will be keen to make an impact for Chelsea at former club Newcastle, while champions Manchester City host Liverpool and Arsenal entertain Stoke City.
