SCARBOROUGH Town’s new management team are getting into the swing of it.

Boss Shaun Rennison and assistant Derek Exley took charge of their first training session last week.

Town are currently preparing for their first pre-season friendly, which is due to take place at McCain Sports against York League side Huntington a week today.

Town are back in training this evening, with the session once again taking place at McCain Sports.

Among the players who took part in the first training session were Edgehill’s Ricky Nock and Anthony Pickles, Newlands striker Sean Exley and Cayton Corinthians’ Neil Fryirs.

Secretary Sean Hunter said: “We had a good turn out of 24 players and next week we are aiming to add a few more to that. Things are looking promising.”
