Since we entered this division I have said all along that we were the newcomers.
And because of that it is important that we take things game by game.
I even said the same when we went on our fantastic run of results, yet people have been jumping the gun and saying that we are nailed on for a play-off place.
My philosophy hasn’t changed. We are still settling down, adding new faces and learning with every game that we play.
It is vital that we are realistic. Our club has no right to come into this league and say that we are going to stroll straight through it.
You only have to look at our trip to Mickleover on Tuesday night.
That was a club with a great set-up that have been long-term members of this division and the one above.
We do have a great fanbase and we are considered a big club, but we have no right to say it.
It is important that we keep on doing the right things and progressing as a club.
It was refreshing to me on Tuesday night when I listened to comments made by fans about how they are enjoying their trips to new grounds.
We are obviously hoping that this enjoyment, linked with a bit of lady luck, can bring us another positive season.
