Edgehill Reserves charged back from 3-1 down to win 4-3 at struggling FC Rosette in the second division.

Rosette opened the scoring through Jamie Deyes but player-manager Martyn Ferrey brought the scores level, only for an Al Wray effort and Tommy Manson's 65th-minute lob to put the Newby side on the verge of their first league win of the season.

But in a a 10-minute spell that Rosette will want to forget swiftly Edgehill banged in three goals, Ryan Link smashing home a brace and super-sub Craig Love scoring the late winner.

Young centre-back Josh Welburn was the star man for Edgehill, while the whole Rosette team impressed in a much-improved performance.

West Pier Reserves completed a league double over defending champions Newlands Reserves, earning a 3-1 away win to go top of the table.

An own goal put Johnny McGough's side in front against the run of play, but Jason Prosser's goal made it all-square at the break, only a string of fine saves from man of the match Rich Curtis keeping the visitors in the match.

Jack South's 25-yard free-kick restored Pier's lead on 65 minutes and 10 minutes from time Mikey Anderson's mazy run saw him felled in the box and veteran Dave Crawford scored from the spot to seal the points.

Seamer Sports Reserves slipped from top spot after having to fight back from a goal down three times to earn a 3-3 home draw against Cayton Corinthians Reserves.

Tom Adams levelled for the home side after Cayton had taken an early lead, and after the interval the visitors went in front again only for Daz Hastie to make it 2-2.

Cayton looked to have won it when they scored a third, but Nick Hegarty's 78th-minute effort earned the depleted hosts a point.

Adam North's powerful first-half 20-yard shot earned Duchess their first win of the season, edging out Falsgrave Athletic 1-0.

Tom Hicks was named as the man of the match for the victorious side.
