Scarborough News Saturday League club Scalby have been handed a boost by local estate agent Harris Bell.
The Northway-based company have weighed in to purchase training jackets for both the club’s first team, who play in division two, and their reserve side.
Club secretary Phil Perry was quick to thank Harris Bell for their sponsorship.
He said: ““Everyone at the club is extremely grateful to Harris Bell for their kind sponsorship of the club.
“Clubs like ours would struggle to operate if it wasn’t for support from local businesses, so thank you to Harris Bell for their generous sponsorship.”
Mark Shields, partner with Harris Bell, said: “We felt it was important to support local sports.
“When the opportunity came up to sponsor Scalby FC we jumped at it.
“They are a good bunch of lads, very keen and not doing too bad in the league. I hope it’s the start of a long relationship for us both.”
